Yarın Çanakkale için büyük bir gün. 2018 Troia Yılı etkinlikleri arasında olan antik Troia kenti için hazırlanmış ilk beste dinleyici ile buluşacak. Bu efsaneyi ünlü piyanistimiz Fazıl Say'ın yorumlaması da ayrı bir anlam katıyor. Eserin adı Troya Sonatı. Truva Sonatı'nı hazırlarken röportajında tarih okumaları gerçekleştirdiğini ve Troia ile ilgili filmleri izlediğini belirtmişti. Troia legend is interpreted by our famous pianist who is Fazıl Say therefore meaning is deep for the composition.Name of the composition is Trojan Sonata. He said that he read many historical documents and watched films about ancient Troia city on his interview. A

International Troia Festival is waiting for you. The festival is important to introduce beauty of Çanakkale because it has many places and historical background. Name of the festival also signed that purpose since ancient Troia city was found nearside of the city center.  Not just Troia is here, but also Assos and Gallipoli are there. About the festival, it has been arranged since 1963 but this year will be special because it is announced as the Year of Troia. UNESCO selected the ancient Troia city for World Heritage List. We are celebrating 20th year of the selection. Some events are declared by Municipality of Çanakkale. Exhibitions, concerts, theaters and other events will be arranged for public without any charge. Also, the municipality contacted with Fazıl Say to compose the Trojan Sonata. Trojan Sonata's premier will be 9th August at Çanakkale. At Özgürlük Parkı, there will be arranged some concerts by Erol Evgin, Resul Dindar, Mehmet Erdem, Barcelona Gipsy Balkan Orc

Fazıl Say is one of best known Turkish composers in the town. The Year of Troia is celebrating with different events.Story of the event is here. Çanakkale Municipality agreed with Fazıl Say to compose a sonata about Trojan Legend few months ago. Fazıl Say influenced the history of Troia and Homer's  İliad and Odyssey when he composed the sonata. Premier of the sonata will be Çanakkale on 9 August when is the first day of International Troia Festival events.
